Meal Allowance: $2,900 – in addition to the above amount

Vacation: House Staff Officers receive four weeks of vacation each year

 

Malpractice Insurance:  Malpractice insurance coverage is provided by theHealth

                                             and Hospitals Corporation (HHC) of the City of New York.

 

Education Benefit: CIR provides.  $600 Professional Education Plan

                                                              $700 Conference allowance

 

Health Coverage: Choice of health plans provided by HHC.  Medical Plan, GHI-                                 Comprehensive benefits program of Health Insurance

                                 or Group Health Incorporated (GHI) plus Blue Cross Hospital

                                 Benefits. All Plans include maternity benefits and benefits

                                 for dependent children.

Prescription Coverage: CIR provides:  Single - $500 yearly;    Family - $1,000 yearly

Optical Coverage: limited coverage provided by CIR

Dental Coverage: provided by CIR

Life Insurance: CIR provides:  $150,000 for member --  $20,000 for spouse

Disability Coverage:

CIR Provides: Short Term Disability -- up to $875 a month up to 90 days

                          Long Term Disability -- 70% of annual salary up to $3,500 per month
